- [Instructor] One of the most important tools for creating system training is screen capture software. These programs allow you to record your screen while providing narration. Examples of screen capture software include SnagIt, we have Camtasia, Screenflick, ScreenFlow, Screencast-O-Matic, and many others. You'll be able to find free screen capture tools such as Screencast-O-Matic, which I'm showing here, however, they will be limited in what they can do. Most of them cost money, but I think it's a great investment. One of my favorite screen capture tools is SnagIt, which is a TechSmith product. I happen to have SnagIt, so I'll show you quickly here what it looks like. Going to go ahead and open up SnagIt, and when I do, I have the option for, over on the side here, this recorder, and if I click on the record button, it allows me to choose my target, and let's say that I want to choose this area of the screen and then I can either take a picture of that or I can begin recording a…
