- All right, so let's go and optimize a GIF. So the first thing you need before you actually get in Photoshop to create a GIF, you need frames. Therefore, you need different layers that are going to be loaded inside a Photoshop. And what I did for that and let me just bring up Adobe Illustrator, is load one of these guys here. So this file here has different images that could be created as a frame. So this one, this one, this one, this one. So what I did is basically export each of these different layers as frames. So if I click here, I can select each of these like so. And then go to the export tool and add it in the export tool inside of Adobe Illustrator. And I'm going to do the same for each and every one of 'em, like so. And then the final one, and then select each assets like so and then export them into where you're going to grab the frames.
