Why are you making the dashboard?
- [Instructor] The third W to think about is that why. Why are we sharing this data? Now, this is all about how is that dashboard going to be used? And what is its purpose? Now, broadly speaking, there are four dashboard types. Or certainly four that I'm going to talk about. The first one is an exploratory dashboard. Now, these dashboards are built for discovery. This is where we're going to take our data, presented in an easily digestible way, and provide lots of interaction through filtering, parameters, actions. To allow something to discover the interesting things in that data. Now, we haven't done the data analysis, particularly. We've not found anything particularly interesting. But we're providing our end user the means to do that for themselves. The second dashboard type is an informative dashboard. And this is a dashboard for information.
