Highlight actions
- [Instructor] Highlight actions allow us to take user input and highlight interesting things in the sheets based on user selection. Now, they have the same behavior as normal highlights. But unlike the filters where we have the Quick Filter option, we have to create custom highlighter actions. In this way, we have to control both the source and the target sheets. We have to make sure that the field we're using for the highlighting is common in both sheets. Let's have a look at this in action. So in our example dashboard, I want to create a highlight action so that when I select one of the regions from our Regional Profit sheet, it's going to highlight that region within the map. Now, I don't want to filter everything out because I want to look at the region in context with everything else. So, how do we go ahead and do that?
