Shooting products in reverse
(upbeat music) - [Man] Have you ever tried to get one of those shots where the camera flies in and lands perfectly on the logo? Did you have trouble getting the camera to be smooth and land without camera shaking? - The trick is anytime we want a shot to land perfectly, we should shoot it in reverse. - This will save you so much time and effort. So by doing it in reverse, we have full control to compose the shot exactly how we want it to look when it lands. That's where it's the most important, right? So we set the framing, the focus, make sure the lighting is perfect. And then we just roll the camera and move it off. - [Woman] Now all we have to do is reverse it in post. - I don't know how many times I tried to nail the landing over and over again before we figured this out, but I really wish somebody had stopped me and taught me this trick.
