Creating a sloped floor
- [Rina] Now that we have a floor and a floor type in place, I'm excited to show you how to add a sloped floor. A sloped floor may be required for the purposes of drainage in order to guide rainwater over to downspouts. Right now in our example, we have got a balcony, and I would like the rainwater to go towards the downspout which is in this corner. So the first thing we're going to do is we are going to click or rather tab click in this case to select the floor. Now that we've got the floor selected, we are going to click on edit boundary. That's a change, isn't it? Instead of clicking on edit type. So here we are. We're in edit boundary. You can see that the sketch lines are all active. Let's click on slope arrow. And we are now going to click to sketch the slope arrow. Now when we look at the properties palette, we can activate dropdowns and make sure that options are selected to create the proper height offset. So if…
