- [Teacher] What we just created was an example of a very simple and straightforward stair. But you know what? Revit stairs can be very complex. Let's take a look at some of those challenges that we can face while creating a custom stair. To start with, we want to make sure that we are in a plan view. Right now, we are in the first floor plan view. Let's go into the stair command and let's make sure that we have our levels set up correctly. We've got the stair starting from the first floor. We have it going up to the second floor. We've got 18 risers, which give us an actual riser height of six, one hundred and seventy-one, two fifty-six of an inch. Now to create the stair, we are not going to be using these ready made stair components. We are going to sketch to create our components. I go into create sketch. Start with boundaries. Start with lines. And I'm going to create a kind of a funky looking stair. So…
