- When I started my YouTube channel, I edited all of my own videos. And while I enjoyed doing it, there was a lot to learn and sometimes a minute of content took an hour of editing. Trust me, I have not forgotten the challenges with video editing. So I am going to give you some very practical ways to edit your video resume from easy to even a bit more advanced, if you're up for it. The first step is to decide what format your video resume will be. Remember, you can have no audio, no video, just titles, stock footage and images, or you can have a voiceover over the stock footage and the images, or finally, you can appear on video in all of your glory. Then it's time to record. You can simply film yourself straight through saying your entire script, and then not really have any editing to do if you want to keep this ultra simple.
