- I want you to think about your favorite product right now, something you use everyday. Maybe you love your cell phone, or your car, or maybe you have a favorite pair of shoes? I can promise you one thing, that final product is nothing like the creators expected. Products that really break through almost always go through an intense period of product discovery. Product discovery is a process of creating, and testing products that ultimately meet your customers' needs. It's not always a linear process, but that's intentional. The first thing you want to do is spend enough time, and customer discovery to feel confident that you understand your customers' problems. You need to know who your customers are, and what problems they have before you can start coming up with possible solutions. Now you'll choose one paint point to tackle for that user.
