- Everyone knows how important it is to have a talented team to drive the execution of your strategy. When people on your team distinguish themselves for being excellent at executing a plan, help them grow, increase their scope of responsibility, train them for larger roles. Actions like this send a strong message to them and their peers about what's valued in that organization. If you don't have execution-focused skills, recruit and hire people with backgrounds and skills to improve your organization's ability to execute consistently. Make execution a recruiting criterion. Invest in functions like project management that will provide dedicated resources that focus on execution of your plan. Hire people with these skills.
