- [Instructor] One thing you might come across as you work on your music is the need to make a fade. So let's take a look at that. Now, I had not planned to fade-out the end of this track, but I hear that I might need a little fade here. So let's listen to this. (bright music) Okay, I hear a little pop there, and I am sure that the culprit is "Evolving Space Synth," through no fault of its own. Let's hear it. ("Evolving Space Synth") It is my fault because I cut this loop in half. You can see that the loop is only half of its available duration there at the end. So what can I do about that? I can press A to show automation. I pressed A on my computer keyboard, and now I can see automation. And if I look at my "Evolving Space Synth" track, I see Volume there. So that is the default parameter to automate. You can see there is Pan, Echo Reverb, a bunch of other things I can automate. But volume is what I want. So…
