- [Instructor] So far we've been using drum loops for our song, but your song may benefit from the sound of a live drummer. And GarageBand has a close facsimile thereof built in. All we need to do is add a drummer track. So I'll go to the Track menu and New Track and add a drummer that automatically plays along with your song. All right. And so we see this track that has been created called SoCal, which is named after the drum kit that is used. And you can see there is a yellow drum region. And if you look in the upper left, you can see that Pop Rock Kyle is our drummer. So let's hear what this sounds like. (upbeat music) All right. And I'm actually going to solo the drummer track and also solo the bass. And I'm going to move this over to where the bass starts. And I'm going to shorten the duration of this drum region. And I'm going to cycle this drum region while we play with it. So here's what we've got now.…
