An overview of the GarageBand interface

- [Instructor] Let's take a few minutes to get familiar with the GarageBand user interface, which is designed to show you the things that you need to use and hide the things that you may not need to use at the moment. So there are some show or hide buttons in the upper left and a couple in the upper right of the interface. So in the upper left, the first button we have is used for showing or hiding the library. And in the library, we can select different ways to change the sound of a track. So we have an audio track right now, and we can select effects that will change the sound of that track. If we had an instrument track, we could change to a different instrument. If we had a drummer track, we could choose different drummers or different drum sets. So we're going to hide the library now.
