When to send

When should you send your emails? As a marketing strategist, this is easily one of the most asked questions I get. In this lesson, you're going to think about your specific audience and when they shop to determine what time of day and what day of week will be best when sending your emails. Who is your audience? Do you have access to any customer research or can you interview someone on your team who knows your customer profile well? The more you understand about your customer, the more you can reasonably assume when they'll be online and checking their email. Think through your audience's routine. If you know you have a generalized audience, then try sending early mid-morning as this is often when people check their email. The same goes for the days of the week. Weekdays are often when people are checking their mail. Start off by sending on the weekdays. Then try weekends to see what's best for you.
