It's well known in the marketing industry that automated emails perform 2 to 3 times better than regular emails. Once they are set up, they can engage with your audience at the exact moment you want them to. This makes them one of the most powerful tools in your email marketing toolbox. In this lesson I want you to learn not only which email marketing automations to set up right away, but also how you can start to iterate on those automations, creating more opportunity to drive sales. First, the key to automations is to look out for actions from your audience that can trigger a specific automated message. Often, these are related to when the audience is most engaged with you, like when they sign up for your email program, abandon a cart or make a purchase.
