Email marketing deliverability is your ability to get into the inbox. In this lesson, you'll learn the basics of email marketing deliverability, the best way to ensure that you're staying in the inbox and have great deliverability is by utilizing permission based marketing to acquire your subscribers. Here are the three major components of permission based marketing and great deliverability. First, only send to those who've asked to be sent to. You cannot sign people up to get your emails without permission. This includes list purchasing. It's critical that your subscribers are expecting to see your emails and remember signing up to hear from your brand. If your subscribers see a brand in their inbox and they haven't signed up for, they will hit the spam button and that will increase the likelihood of your newsletters going into the spam folder for other subscribers.
