- So we've talked about DevOps, we've talked about automation procedures, we've talked about orchestration, we have talked about infrastructure as code, configuration as code, and we've talked about integration of systems. So now let's talk about some common tools that might be used in your DevOps deployments. First, we have version control tools. This is a tool that allows you to manage your code or your configuration code, whether it's software or configuration code, manage the versions, manage the ability for programmers or administrators to check it out, change it, push it back in, and then push it out to the network and systems and so forth.
