- [Presenter] This is a practical course which introduces you to the concept of open-source security software and its installation and use. You don't need any prior knowledge to take this course, as I'll provide an explanation of each of the tools as we go. I will however, assume that you have some basic computer knowledge, can understand some of the common Linux commands, and that you are familiar with the terminology and basics of data networking. We'll be walking through the installation of the software we cover in the course, but I'll explain it all and by the end of the course, you'll be quite comfortable with using the APT installation tool.
