- [Instructor] Two of the key components of our Proxmox lab will be the standard Kali Linux system, which we'll use as the platform from which to launch attacks within our lab. And the Kali Purple platform containing the key tools to identify vulnerabilities and detect attacks. Let's start by loading Kali Linux. If you're not familiar with this offensive cyber testing platform, check out my LinkedIn learning course Introduction to Kali Linux for penetration testing and ethical hacking. We can get the Kali Linux installation file and ISO image from the offset website shown here. We'll take the installer 64 image. I've already downloaded this onto my PC. We'll upload Kali to the Proxmox node by selecting local disk, upload. And we'll select the file, Kali 2023.3 installer, and we'll change the name just to Kali.iso and we can now click upload. Now we've completed the upload. We can create a Kali Linux VM. So we'll close this and we'll click create VM. We'll set the VM number to 100…
