Configuring the eramba system
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at what we have available in Eramba to support our GRC work. Note that we can connect locally or we can update the public IP address in the .M file to our actual IP address and connect remotely. We're at the homepage and our dashboard is empty as we're running a new install. At the left, we have our main menu items covering the security program. The Organization, our Technical Assets, our Controls and Business Continuity Plans, Risk Management, Compliance, and Security Operations. At the bottom we have the settings item, which we've already used to set up our Sam Spade user. Let's check it out a little bit more. At the left, we have a number of access management options enabling us to set up users and groups and to configure the sections of Eramba that they're authorized to use. If we click on authorization, we can see that we set our authorizations by group and we can set the individual sections that the groups are allowed to access and we can set the…
