8.4 Copilot for Security consumption model
- One important concept to understand when using Copilot for Security is how you're being billed or what is the cost, and there are reasons why the Copilot for Security runs in the way that will be covered right now. This is ran on a kind of hybrid of consumption and reservation model. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as a headcount model. If you have 20 people, then you have this cost, so you can predict costs in that manner. This is a hybrid of consumption and reservation. The reservation part of this is you're reserving per hour. So for an hour, you're committing to use the amount of usage you're going to use. After an hour, it resets, and you can increase or decrease that usage. So, that allows for flexibility, as well as allows for you to test and not do this long commitment. You're just committing for an hour.
