6.5 Promptbook examples
- Promptbooks and skills are extremely useful when using Copilot for Security. But common questions are, "How do I get started?" Our recommendation is see what's there by default. So by default you can search for general promptbooks or you can search for promptbooks for a specific tool or a specific task, like maybe you want to do incident response work or you want to see promptbooks that are associated with Microsoft Defender. When it comes to skills, skills are a specific thing you want to do. Like I want to analyze a script, or I want to do a threat hunt query. So it's highly recommended to see what is there by default, either built directly in the tool or looking at what's being shared on the internet via GitHub repos and other areas to get a better idea of what you want to do with the tool versus working from scratch. You'll find in both promptbooks and skills that there may be variables, meaning if you're doing an incident response, some of the way that's prompting will be there…
