10.1 Introduction to plugin development
- So now we've got you started and going with Copilot for Security, the next step that we can do is actually develop plugins that are going to extend. So we looked at the embedded experiences, the things that Microsoft has already built out on the first party products. Now we have the idea of building plugins for extending that beyond. And I like to think of this as Microsoft believes that we have the best of the players on the field. We have a great team, but cyber is truly a team sport, and there's times that you may need another position player, or someone to have that niche functionality or capability, and it's a big ecosystem out there in the cyber world. So these plugins are there for you to be able to extend the capabilities of Copilot for Security. And essentially, it's doing that through that RAG capability, or retrieval augmented generation.
