- [Instructor] One really important aspect of starting your AI journey is understanding the return on investment, or ROI. This is the lesson learned that my team has had as I've worked with organizations and saying, "Okay, you're ready to start AI," initially talking about it being a cool tool and the value it provides, and now starting with, it's a cool tool, but what are you going to get out of it? What is your ROI? There are general ROI aspects that you can speak to. Those can be the time savings and how fast machines can do certain things that humans basically can't do, or it takes a long time to do. There's the idea of repeatable work. So SOCs tend to want to have a repeatable, mature process, and AI can help make that happen. There are certain tasks that people just don't want to do and it causes SOC burnout, or people to get burned out of their roles, or AI can help remove those mundane tasks and make the SOC a more enjoyable environments.
