- [Instructor] Typically, there are four high-level provisioning steps involved in onboarding your organization to Microsoft 365. The first of these is to obtain your subscription. Having reviewed the available subscriptions, you will select one, then you'll go through the process of configuring it. This initial configuration has various steps, but are absolutely critical. Many of these steps cannot be changed. You might choose to add a custom domain or several custom domains to your organization. This is an optional step one, which is usually required. And you may also need to configure DNS settings for name resolution purposes. You may not need to do that. It depends on your specific situation.
