- [Narrator] As you will probably know, email acts as a convenient conduit for malicious content to arrive in your organization in the form of unsafe attachments such as malicious scripts or offers to visit a particular website to provide personal information or password-type information through phishing attacks. As a consequence, we probably spend quite a bit of our time trying to address these issues, and the Exchange Online Protection features can help us do that. IP and sender reputation uses a trustworthiness score that's been assigned to senders and their IP addresses to determine whether their inbound mail arriving from those senders is potentially unsafe. The IP reputation is based on the history of the IP address, and sender reputation is a security score based on originated domain or sender account details.
