Creating a Jira Cloud site
- In this section, I'll show you how to create a new free cloud site with a new Jira software and Jira Service Management application for our use case. If you prefer to use a cloud sandbox from an existing environment instead, we'll discuss that in the next section. You can also use a data center application or a data center test environment. We'll start with cloud. Here's how to create brand-new cloud applications. Visit atlassian.com/software/jira and click get Jira free. Next, enter an email address and click the signup button. I recommend creating a special email account just for this test site. Now type the one-time-use code sent to your email address. On the next page, enter your name, choose a password, and click the form submission button. Next, choose a site name. I'll enter acquisition.
