Identity federation in Active Directory
So we're back on the Windows server and we're going to talk about identity federation now. I'm in Server Manager on the machine and the first thing I'm going to do is click manage and say add roles. And then from here I'm just going to click next and next all the way through. And then I'm going to select Active Directory Federated Services, which is the identity platform that's provided by windows. I'm going to choose next here. And then of course choose next. It's just going to add the role, there's no configuration yet. This is just installing the feature onto the Windows. Now there's some prerequisite work that's been done. One is there's DNS entries for adfs.training.int that's available for me. There's also some certificates that have been created for adfs.training.int and then a WildCard, one that I can use as well.
