- [Instructor] Supply chain analysis is one way we can use graph analysis to help us in data analytics and data science. Now, a supply chain is a set of organizations that work together to deliver materials, components, and finished products to customers. And a supply chain can span all the way to initial sourcing of raw materials, all the way through to finally delivering something to a customer. Now, there are different kinds of components in a supply chain. We have raw material and component suppliers. So the raw material, obviously, is the beginning components that we start with, the basic materials. Then we might build like components that are put together to build more complex products. And the people that do that sort of composition work are manufacturers. And we might have multiple manufacturers in a supply chain. Manufacturers often work with distributors.
