In this video, I'll help you get familiar with some of the most common communication platforms in modern analytics engineering. One of the staples of modern communication is email. As analytics engineers, we get lots of emails. Hey, why is this report off? When is this project going to be done? Automated messages about pipelines, visualizations, and the database, et cetera. Communicating through email is great if you have lots of information to share or need to share files with a single person or a group of people. Generally, email is relatively slow and you shouldn't expect an answer to an email right away, nor should others expect that from you. Instant messaging happens on a lot of platforms.
