Some managers get to know them personally, while others know them more professionally, and never cross the line into personal life, and then others keep it to the work at hand. Going through a pandemic, we got a deeper glimpse into people's spaces, and as a result, their lives. It gave us permission to be more vulnerable, more empathetic.
