In this short lesson, let's first compare organizational policies to functional policies. Organizational policies offer a roadmap for daily operations or ongoing maintenance. They assist with the realization of the organization's views and the values of specific issues. Functional policies and procedures help direct operations, without continual or constant management involvement. Functional policies apply to different business units, organizational units, departments, and divisions. These range from financial, DevOps, business analytics, marketing, sales, and others. on the exam, these functional policies should never conflict with the organizational policies. They must be in alignment. Something else to remember on the exam is the RACI or RACI chart. R is responsible, A is accountable, C is consulted, and I is informed.
