- [Instructor] Security is complex, so it's essential to understand how to break the cloud security components apart at the problem and the infrastructure levels. This video will explore how to provide cloud security at the storage, computing and network levels for public clouds. You must start with securing the foundational infrastructure services, networking, storage, database, and computing. Applications and data leverage this information and therefore, services must be leveraged securely. You also need to consider security at the cloud infrastructure level, such as zones or segments of public clouds. Also regions or the physical region of the cloud infrastructure. Finally, edge clouds or clouds that may exist outside of the central public cloud or sometimes on premises.
