Maybe you've heard of a scenario where a company is using a well-known third-party vendor to do their enterprise management or their network operations, maybe in their NOC, and they have up-to-date patch management. They are staying on top of updating their patches. However, when they install the recently released patch from the well-known and well-established vendor, it has malware in it. What does that mean? Well, that means neither the vendor has properly tested that update or that patch, and the customer has not properly tested that patch before they put it into production. In other words, software assurance has not been accomplished or performed on the vendor side or the customer side. So we have to have software assurance. And the main goal of our assurance program is to basically transfer the security paradigm from just simple patch management to a more global, more robust software assurance.
