Probably the most vital aspect as far as tactical goes on the BCP would be your disaster recovery plan. So DRP stands for the planning process, disaster recovery planning, but also the ultimate result, the disaster recovery plan. So it involves confirming that the organization can recover to an established baseline of continuity after some type of high-level catastrophic or disastrous event. It includes all of the tasks, all of the processes that you undertake when you're using a disaster recovery site or a disaster recovery solution when a catastrophic event strikes. Now remember the term disaster is relative. For a small business, it could simply be ransomware on the CEO's laptop, okay? It could be a single system. It could be your power going out. It could be a rack or a VLAN. Other organizations, it may be, you know, an entire metropolitan area.
