- [Instructor] This is about migrating a type of application, in this case, AI applications. There is good news and bad news here. The good news is that migrating AI systems from traditional systems to public or private clouds is much the same as other applications. They have data, they have application components, they have operations and security requirements. Thus, not much changes when doing the planning, as we discussed in the last three videos for private, public and multi-cloud migration. The bad news is that many of these AI systems use higher end processors such as graphics processing units, or GPUs. Thus, special planning is needed to ensure that the target private or public cloud platform can support those processing loads as well. Fortunately, public clouds are all in on AI and support these types of higher end processors.
