Setting up and managing DNS in the cloud
- [Instructor] So, what are the steps to set up and manage DNS within a cloud network? Here are the major steps. Choose a DNS provider, meaning researching, and selecting a DNS provider that offers cloud-based DNS services. Options include Amazon Route 53, Google Cloud DNS, and Microsoft Azure DNS, but there are many others to consider as well. Domain registration and configuration means that we're going to register the domain and configure it for our specific requirements. Creating DNS zones for our newly registered DNS means leveraging a chosen DNS provider's console to create DNS zones that allow you to better organize and segment your network. Configuring a DNS record means that we're adding or managing types of DNS records, for instance, A records, CNAME records, MX Records, TXT records.
