- [Instructor] So how does one use logging and analytic services for networking monitoring in order to assist in network troubleshooting? Surprisingly, it's not as complex as it sounds. Here are a few simple steps to consider. First, make sure to select a reliable logging and analytic service. Examples include AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Logging, or Azure Monitor. Second, set up the logging service to gather the network monitoring data you need to analyze. This typically includes network traffic data, system performance data and relevant application logs. Third, create a monitoring dashboard providing a custom view of any metrics and alerts that should be monitored ongoing. Fourth, set up alerting and notifications based on the previously defined threshold as you may recall from an earlier video.
