- [Instructor] So, how does one configure a virtual network? It's perhaps best that we walk you through the basic steps. Note that these steps may change based on the cloud brand you're working with and cloud networking service or services you're leveraging. Number one, choose a cloud provider that provides virtual networking capabilities. The most significant cloud providers are Amazon Web Services, or AWS; Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Log into the chosen cloud provider's console or web interface to get to the console. This is where you can configure your virtual network. Locate the section in the console related to networking. Normally, this will list all network-related services, so it may be overwhelming. In the networking section, look for options to create a new virtual network, VPC, or virtual private clouds.
