Analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting issues

- [Instructor] Analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting common network issues can be done using a few steps. First, use networking monitoring technology to gather network monitoring data and analyze the data to understand any network issues. Next is troubleshooting any network issues by checking virtual device configurations to ensure they are not misconfigured. Helpful to this process is using network diagnostic tools, such as identifying specific issues. Usually, this is carried out using small tests, such as pinging remote servers over the cloud computing network. Check out the network logs, looking for any error messages and events that could indicate any network problems. Finally, collaborate with others or consult with online communications for additional insights. You'll find that this is an ever-changing science, and as we learn more and share more, we all need to keep up with the changes in best practices and technology.
