Why do I need a cloud career guide?

(soft music) - Did you know that 95% of businesses globally are facing a cloud and IT skills gap? As an independent cloud architect, I see the impacts of this gap daily, so I decided to create this course to help you craft a cloud career path, so that you can work with cloud architects like me on cloud solutions. My perspective is somewhat unique in that I'm an architect who not only envisions and design solutions, but also one who participates in writing the code to implement these solutions. This includes writing code for both applications, business logic and infrastructure, cloud deployment. In addition, I bring a global perspective given my work with clients in the U.S., across Europe, and in other countries such as Australia, Zambia, and Brazil. Also, I have built and deployed solutions on all of the major cloud vendor platforms, Amazon Web Services, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud platform, or GCP. Additionally, because of my technical education work, I've received partner awards. I'm a Microsoft Regional Director, Google Developer Expert for Cloud and AI, and an Amazon Community Data Hero. These partner communities are cloud leaders and great learning resources. You'll benefit from my broad and deep cloud viewpoint as I guide you in your cloud career journey.
