- Moving to a green economy means not only increased green scaling and green jobs, but also a new type of entrepreneurship, new ideas, new innovation, new businesses, equal new economic opportunity. LinkedIn's research shows that while green entrepreneurship is nascent, it's growing at a faster rate than overall entrepreneurship globally. And it's not just in sectors traditionally thought of as green, green founders are also leading the charge in architecture, design, finance, and software. While we are seeing increasing momentum in the United States and Europe, emerging economies are also catching up fast. For example, 20% of Brazil start-ups have workers with green skills. That's higher than the global average of 18%. Farming oil and gas and biotech sector start-ups boasts the highest number of green skilled workers. Meanwhile, in India, entrepreneurs are increasingly showing a high degree of green skills.…
