- Part of my job that I really love is meeting with policymakers across the globe. And the first question I'm often asked is, what can LinkedIn's economic graph tell us about green skills and green jobs? As a policymaker, you have a unique opportunity to advocate for green skills. Whether you are working at local, regional, national, or international level, you can play a key role in preparing the workforce for the coming green transition. Green jobs will come about if we have enough green skills. That's why upskilling is key, be it in existing jobs or new roles. Firstly, you can connect green skills, jobs, and broader green economic policies. Look at existing talent pools and explore how you would prioritize green upskilling.
