In this video, we're going to talk about compliance regulations. Those are frameworks that govern how an organization has to protect sensitive information and maintain security standards. Now let's dive in by considering why compliance matters. First of all, a compliance framework helps ensure that an organization is going to be handling data responsibly, that they're going to keep sensitive information safe, and that's going to help maintain the public's trust. And by following these regulations, that's going to help an organization avoid really hefty fines and potential lawsuits, both of which could significantly damage a business.
