Downloadable ACL (dACL)

- [Instructor] One option for deploying access control lists are through something called downloadable ACLs, or dACLs. Using profiles and policies within Cisco ISE, which we'll cover more in depth later in this series, we can apply a specific ACL to a user based on their authorization. Although we'll cover Cisco ISE more in depth in the future, for now, let's use that to understand how we can deploy dACLs. These can be used to control how the network is accessed by different users and groups. In Cisco ISE, we have default dACL profiles available after installation, or we can duplicate these and create custom ACLs. Here in the Cisco ISE dashboard, if we choose our Policy tab at the top, under Policy Elements, let's choose the Results section. And from the left menu, if we expand the authorization section, you'll see one of those options is for Downloadable ACLs.
