Cisco Catalyst Center and SD-WAN manager APIs

In today's enterprise networks, we need to support automation and integration with other systems and that's where APIs come in. An API, or an Application Programming Interface, that's going to allow different software applications to communicate with each other. Instead of manually configuring devices one by one, APIs let us programmatically interact with network controllers to retrieve information, push out configurations, and automate workflows. In Cisco's enterprise architecture, APIs are a key building block for both centralized management and SDN, software-defined networking. And Cisco Catalyst Center, formerly Cisco DNA Center, provides REST-based APIs. They're going to act as northbound interfaces. And these APIs use standard HTTP methods or verbs like GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE. And those are commonly used to automate intent-based networking workflows.
