Manual 2D tracking
- [Instructor] Manual tracking or supervised tracking is where you set beaches manually and track them by hand rather than relying on auto tracking, a feature, as you may now be aware is a small region of the footage that can be found again in the previous and following frames of the shot. If you are solely relying on manual tracking, then the key thing to remember is you need to evenly space out the trackers at different depths to represent the scene. If a feature can no longer be tracked midway through the shot, you'll want to go back and add new features so that they overlap each other. That way you'll have a consistent number of tracks across the entire shot. This should then provide enough data to produce an accurate solve. So let's add some manual tracks to this shot.
