- [Instructor] Once my Mint system is installed, I'll log in. And I see a few things on the screen right away. One is a pop-up here in the top right, telling me I should look for better video drivers for this system. Within VirtualBox, there aren't any, so I'll dismiss that, and we'll fix this later. But if you're using a real computer, you should let Mint check to see if there's a better driver by opening Device Manager. The other thing I see on the screen is a welcome wizard offering to walk me through some system setup steps. So let's follow that. Here, in the bottom-right corner, I can choose whether to show this at startup. And I'll turn that off on my system. Under the First Steps section on the left, I can choose a desktop color scheme, choose whether I want to use light or dark mode, select my panel layout, and, right from here, I'm able to launch into some other system settings applications.
