- [Instructor] When my minimal installation of Arch starts up, I'm prompted to log in and to do that, I'll use the user credentials I created during the install process. Once I'm logged in, I'm here at the bash prompt. So let's explore a little bit, we can take a look at the services running on the system, using systemCTL. And to make browsing that a bit easier, we can pipe it into less so we can scroll around and search. I'll press Q to quit. We can also investigate individual units with a systemCTL status command and the name of a unit. Like systemD, journalD, which handled system logging on Arch. This shows some information about the specific unit and shows some log information and other information as well. I'll press Q to return to the command line.
