- [Instructor] To get started with an Ubuntu desktop installation, I'll visit ubuntu.com and find the Download section. Here, that's in the top bar. So I'll click it. I'll download the latest version at the time I'm recording this, which is 21.10. You could also choose to download the LTS version too. I'd recommend the LTS version if you plan on using Ubuntu as your primary system, but the more recent version without long-term support is a good choice to use to explore. You can run that on a primary system too. Just be aware that it won't be supported for as long as the LTS one. I'll download the installer image, and when that finishes, I'll switch over to VirtualBox and set up a new virtual machine. To do that, I'll click the New button, and I'll name my machine. I'll give it four gigabytes of RAM and an 80 gigabyte hard drive, and I'll click Create. Then to attach the installer, I'll find the Storage section of the…
